FAQ

How do I make the PDF smaller?+

A PDF's size is roughly the total size of the photos inside it.
For example, if 10 photos need to fit in 2MB, turn on 'File size', set each photo to 200KB, then combine them.

What's the difference between 'Fit to A4' and 'Same as photo'?+

'Fit to A4' centers each photo on an A4 page with margins, which is ideal for printing and submitting documents.
Wide photos get a landscape page.
'Same as photo' makes each page the same size as the photo.

Does putting photos in a PDF lower the quality?+

JPG and PNG results go in as they are, without being compressed again.
The quality matches the result photo you see on the save screen.

Are my photos stored on a server?+

No.
Your photos are never sent over the internet.
They're processed only inside the browser you're using right now, and when you close the page, both the originals and the results are cleared from your device's memory.

Is information like the photo's location passed along too?+

Result files don't include EXIF metadata such as location or device info.
The rotation info is applied first so your photo doesn't end up sideways, and then it's removed.
