FAQ
How much smaller does it get?+
Scans and photo-heavy PDFs often shrink to half or even a fifth.
Text-only PDFs have no images and barely change; 'Pages to images' will shrink them but text becomes unselectable.
How does 'Recompress images only' work?+
It finds JPEG and lossless images inside the PDF, reduces their longest side and re-encodes them as JPEG.
Text, lines and tables are untouched.
Images with transparency keep their size and only lose some quality.
How large can files be?+
Up to 100MB per file and 20 files at a time.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?+
No.
It's processed only inside your browser.
